[ Kyoutani glances at Ben who has managed to not kill himself yet or been in need of help so he's just been able to drink in relative peace for the most part. ]

He's alive.

[ Eddie had got there pretty fast, a bit faster than Kyoutani had been expecting but it's probably for the best too. ]

[Ben has probably taken a few swings at the trees, but alcohol consumption does nothing for his aim. Something Eddie is grateful for at the moment.]

[When Ben sees Eddie, he goes in for a hug and bursts into tears. Eddie freezes up, awkwardly patting Ben's back and glancing over at Kyoutani apologetically.] Hey, Ben. It's okay... yeah, I know... I know you miss your dad.

[This is not something that Eddie can relate to, really. He only knows his own father through the pictures on the mantle and his mother's stories.]

[To Kyoutani, Eddie mouths, 'Sorry' -- sorry for the turn this took, sorry you have to witness this...]
